  1. I'm pretty lucky in that my kids love healthy foods. That said, they also love cookies and junk food!
To help ensure that they eat healthy, I (gasp!) don't keep unhealthy foods around. Yep, that means I have to eat healthy too. Dang-it!
I also "sneak in" extra veggies... shredded carrots fit into anything and everything. I'm starting to play more with whole wheat flour in breads and stuff, but no real successes yet...
REALLY looking forward to reading the other hints and tips here!

  2. What a cool little gift! We love Simply GoGurt. My daughter likes it frozen so she can have it when it's hot outside. Sure, it kills all the good bacteria but it's a nice healthy cool treat!

  3. My niece just leaned about the food groups in school. Since Mrs. Jones said she needs to eat fruits and vegetables each day, now she will finally eat more than corn!

  6. Hey there -- I am very lucky that my son loves most fruits and a lot of veggies (carrots, cucumbers, peas, etc.) I make sure that he has a varied diet (including SOME ice cream sometimes :) that includes protein, carbs, veggies, fruit. I try new things, too, like adding a new spice or some lowfat cheese on top of something to make it a little different!
