This week I went to Smart and Final (twice) to plan for a tailgating party.

My first trip I got
:
10 lb potatoes, 2 lbs carrots, 2 Rib Eye Steaks, 1 Salad bag, 6 tomatoes and 7lb Charcoal for $15! Love the deals!

Second trip I got a lot too for around $40.00 (that includes all of our beverages).

Check out my Whrrl above to see everything I got and see our party!

My Easy Recipes for Tailgating

Potato Skins

7 large to medium potatoes
1 - 8 ounce bag of shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup of very chopped onion
1/3 lb. of bacon (you can use bacon bits too)
1/2 cup sour cream

Chives

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Melt butter in a saucepan, on low constantly stirring until melted. Chop onion and bacon into small pieces. Sauté bacon and onion in melted butter.

Before cooking: Cut the potatoes in half. Take a spoon and "scoop" the potato out.

Brush the inside of the potato with melted butter.
Bake in the oven until soft (approx 20 minutes) Remove from oven.

Sprinkle potatoes with salt if desired.

Add cheese, onion and bacon onto each potato place the skins back it to the oven until the cheese is melted.

Serve with sour cream and chives if desired.

Easy Cheater Ranch Dip
I just took a 1/3 cup of Ranch Dressing and 1/2 cup sour cream and mixed them together.

Fruit Dip
1 Cup Sour Cream
1/4 cup of honey
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Mix Together and serve!

Key Lime Cupcakes
This was easy, I took 1 box of Pillsbury White Cake Mix, made as directed and added fresh key lime juice to the cupcake. I like to make my cupcakes a little healthier and made it with 1/3 applesauce and 1 egg instead of 3 eggs and oil.

Frosting Glaze: 2 cups of powdered sugar and key lime juice. When doing a powdered sugar glaze, add liquid slowly until the powdered sugar is dissolved.
