I absolutely love to cook meals for my family. However I'm not going to lie, I love to make an easy meal that tastes great but doesn't take too long to make. About once a week we usually put together a pasta dinner. Our favorite has to be pasta shells with sauce. Comparable to spaghetti but we love the shells. This dinner is really simple to make and usually is less than a dollar per serving!
I love to involve the kids with dinner, for some reason it seems like they eat a lot more if they are! So I took the kids on a shopping excursion to Walmart for our ingredients!

Ingredients:
American Beauty Pasta Shells (Did you know a 1 lb bag at Walmart is only $1.34?!)
Ragu Pasta Sauce (we like to use traditional)
Kraft Parmesan cheese
Shredded cheddar cheese
Ground meat (we love turkey, definitely a lesser fat option)
Italian seasonings such as oregano
After we finished shopping at Walmart, it was time to make dinner. This is a fairly easy recipe that kids can be included on with adult supervision.

An easy cheesy garlic bread recipe:

1 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/8 C shredded cheese
3 tbsp Butter
Take the toast and toast it in the toaster.
Next take the salt, garlic and butter, mix until well blended.
Add to toast, top with cheese.
Done!
The dinner was delicious and it took less than a half hour to complete.
