Summer Skin Relief with Gold Bond

It's already pretty hot in Phoenix, the temperatures border 100 degrees and will increase over the next month to over 110 degrees. I'm the type of person that can't stay indoors either, even in the heat. I love camping, hiking, biking, swimming, jogging etc in the Summer.

One of my favorite Summer morning activities is hiking. Phoenix is surrounded by numerous mountains that have over hundreds of trails and it's actually on my "Bucket List" to hike at least half if not all the trails here in Phoenix!

Since hiking in the heat dries out my skin pretty fast, my skin needs a lot of moisture to restore it's softness. I recently tried the Gold Bond body wash. I've never been disappointed in the Gold Bond products so I bought I bought one of these body washes that was on sale about two months ago to try. After the first use I immediately noticed a difference in my skin as soon as I put it on. Not only did it moisturize my skin, I didn't have the need to put lotion on after a shower. I honestly fell in love with this product and it was something I had never even tried before. My skin felt so soft all day long, no lotion needed.

Today, I needed to buy more of the Gold Bond body wash. I am always a frugal shopper but I will actually buy my favorite items, even at full price. I believe that by getting to be frugal and save on products in which I don't mind the brand, I can buy the items I really love without feeling guilty about the price.

While shopping for the Gold Bond body wash at Walmart, I noticed the Gold Bond Ultimate healing foot therapy cream. Oh what the summer does to my feet is just so frustrating! While I try to get pedicures as often as time (and money) permit, my feet always dry out and crack. In the Summer, I do not care to wear closed toed shoes often either.

Here is just a "glimpse" into my Summer shoe supply:

Here is a peek at my not so pretty feet from my Summer shoes:

Obviously I love sandals and flip flops so I need a foot cream that will help moisturize after I scrub them with a pumice stone. I hadn't tried this cream before so I thought I would give it a try. Along with purchasing the healing foot cream I bought aloe infused socks to put on after I moisturize my feet. I thought it would be a great treatment to do every night before bed.

Scrub, moisturize and cover up, seems simple!

While it's only been one day since I tried the Gold Bond cream and aloe sock treatment, my feet felt softer after putting on the lotion. I think the key will be to keep up this nightly routine to obtain pretty feet!
