If you are in Phoenix and you are a parent, grandparent etc you should check out the JBF Sale. It is a large consignment sale where you can sell, shop or both for gently used children's items! This is a great way to save money for back to school shopping because you know, kids grow fast and it's expensive to keep up with them!
I started working with Amy who runs the Just Between Friends Phoenix sale and she is just awesome. I actually sold items in the last one and made around $70! These were things I was going to donate anyways!
I know that she does offer volunteer opportunities where you can shop early AND make a little more percent commission!
Here are the details:
- JBF is the nation's leading children's and maternity consignment sales event.
- Next Sale: August 25-27, 2011
- Where: 3720 W Greenway Rd@ the Postal Workers Social Club
- The sale benefits South Phoenix Healthy Start. Unsold, donated items go to this great organization and directly to new and expectant mothers in need!
Don't miss your opportunity to make money, save money and help the community. Be a smart mom (or dad or grandma, aunt, uncle, etc.)! Consign your gently used maternity and children's items to make money

How do you consign? Sign up for a consignment number at http://www.nwphoenix.jbfsale.com/pages/home, then you can log on and create your tags. Just print them out and attach them to the clothes/items, it really is that easy! What's nice is that you can actually drop your items off, you don't have to mess with the hassle of selling anything yourself.
