Wow Walmart Accepts Competitor Coupons!

I heard the rumors yesterday, I had to verify it's truth! When I looked at my local ad online, I found that right on the top it says Walmart accepts competitor coupons! Per their site:

We'll match the price of any local competitor's printed ad or coupon for an identical product.

Don't believe it? It's on their site here!

It says for items, does not say off purchase so I assume that dollar off coupons such as Fresh and Easy are not applicable.

I know some people have issues redeeming coupons at their store, I recommend printing the ad if you don't have it and printing their coupon policy. I think they are going to aim at being a bit more coupon friendly because on the bottom of their receipts it says they gladly accept manufacture coupons and internet coupons.

You can see Walmart's coupon policy here: http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx

  1. so if walgreens has a coupon for a 1.00 off a reach toothbrush can you also use a 1.00 off manf. coupon?

  2. Here's my thing with Walmart, all store managers are different therefore, SOME Walmarts have said to be allowing stacking of coupons, I know there will be some Walmarts not doing this. My rec is to go to your store's customer service managers with the coupons prior to shopping and ask them if you can. They should accept both, but everyone seems to have different shopping experiences.
