So I am going to let the whole world know about a little secret of mine, I love Sara Blakely. I know, sounds like I am talking about myself but Sara Blakely is actually the owner/creator of Spanx/Assets. Now when I say I love her, I actually mean her fabulous products. I've wore Spanx for a while, recently I was introduced to Assets. Assets is still the reputable Spanx brand but Assets are more affordable for those who like to save money and look good!
I can tell you I am a fan of the Waist Firmer already but recently I was asked to try the Brilliant Bra from Assets and give an honest review. When I took it out of the package, I was really excited to try it. The microfiber material felt so soft and breathable. When I put it on, I automatically felt comfort, especially on my back. I am so used to the bra hook on the back that when I put this one on it felt like it covered without "hook" feeling. Even better, when I put my shirt on I could not see the normal "hook" in the back. Hello smooth back! The straps were very easy to adjust as well.

I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old so I NEED comfy bras and am currently in the market for a good one:) I have never tried (or heard) of this brand but based on your review it sounds great and I would love to try it:)

ReplyDeleteI was first introduced to Spanx after my #1 was born and I was having the WORST time losing the baby weight. I hated myself, HATED my body, HATED HATED SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES (THIS, in an of itself is a crime!) Spanx Super Higher Power single-handedly brought the joy of fashion back into my life. And with my renewed confidence (and firm lovehandles and backside) I learned to love myself again as I lost the weight, literally 1lb at a time.
But here's what I REALLY love: a miracle product like Super Higher Power is one thing, it's quite another to impress me with a whole catalog of products: Spanx has NEVER failed me, the stockings are terrific (double sided tights? GET OUT OF TOWN!) and I have fallen in LOVE with the bras~so comfy and flattering! I'm pregnant with #2 and have already asked for Spanx clothing for this Christmas. I can't wait to call the pencil skirt mine!!!!

I would love to try this bra. Tried on the Spanx brand not too long ago and loved it!! - just did not have the money for it. This is a lot more affordable and I am sure it is the same quality. Love the Spanx products!
ReplyDeleteSpanx is the only bra that I have found to be comfortable after having Lily and breastfeeding. I basically went from an A cup to a D cup and had to find something fast! Most bras didn't fit "right" and would move all over and the under wire would kill me. The spanx however fit perfectly and stay put. I can't even tell there is under wire other than I feel "secure." I would love to have another one!
